A fascinating organic garden, with a mission to inspire people to become better gardeners and cooks. Traditional borders surround the house but elsewhere the garden has developed to create unique spaces eg a woodland dell which is an example of a temperate rainforest, a ‘Narnia’ style children’s path edged with Cornus Alba Sibirica, a hosta hotel, five ponds including a ‘Viking’ pond area, two forest bathing rooms, courtyard gardens, raised beds and glasshouses filled with home-grown crops. Reclaimed stone walls, areas of semi-wild planting and newly created wildflower areas ensure the garden rests harmoniously within its surrounding habitat.
