Annes Grove Gardens is situated near Castletownroche Co. Cork. The gardens were designed and established by Richard Grove Annesley in the early 20th century in a ‘Robinsonian’ style that combines native and exotic plants in a naturalised setting.
During this visit members will have a guided tour starting from the main house through the Edwardian walled garden with neatly clipped curved box hedging, rose beds and well planted dahlia and herbaceous borders. Other notable places to see include the shrubbery and woodland walks leading from the main house and distant views of planted rock faces over the glen and River Awbeg.
