This is a joint event for the Irish Society of Botanical Artists and the Irish Garden Plant Society.

Stephen Butler, who is the director of horticulture at Dublin Zoo, will speak on “Zoohabitats – immersing the animals and the visitors in naturalistic planting at Dublin Zoo”.

Thematic planting creates a different appearance around each area, this talk will illustrate some of the thinking behind the design, and aspects of planting to enrich the habitat for the animals too.
