KILLINCHY

Gardens of approximately one acre, developed around a late Georgian house and outbuildings, leading down to the River Blackwater. The garden immediately around the house was created in the mid-20th century and has been restored and extended by the current owners. Winding paths take you through late spring bulbs, cherry and apple blossom, primula, flowering shrubs, clematis, roses and specimen trees. Herbaceous material is used throughout the garden in the new European Perennial style. There is a water trough cascade, feeding a rill which ends at a pond. Please note that part of the garden is not accessible to everyone due to the steep incline. This garden is unsuitable for children or wheelchairs.
