Dr Jane Stout of Trinity College Dublin will explain how bee and hoverfly decline has stimulated widespread concern and actions, public and private, to conserve pollinators. This talk will address the challenges to pollinator conservation in urban areas, discuss current research both in Ireland and elsewhere, and introduce guidelines developed by the All Ireland Pollinator Plan.
