Our Clotworthy Autumn Lecture, in association with Antrim Borough Council returns to the beautifully refurbished Clotworthy House

Come and listen to John McCullen, landscape horticulturist, landscape historian and an entertaining and highly regarded lecturer, as he guides us through the development of the Phoenix Park, the green lungs of the city of Dublin.

John was awarded a PhD from the History of Art department, Trinity College Dublin for his book, “An illustrated history of the Phoenix Park – landscape and management to 1880” He was formerly Chief Park Supt. with the Office of Public Works. He also co-authored a Manual of Urban Trees which was published in the 1980s as well as contributing to a number of other books.
