“Saving our Conifers”. Based at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Tom Christian, Manager of the National Tree Collections of Scotland (which will be one focus of the talk) and the iCONic Conifer Conservation Programme, and active participant in the International Conifer Conservation Programme, with fieldwork in Norway, Poland, Lebanon, Chile, Japan, and Ireland, where many conservation worthy conifers are growing in various gardens.
