Plant sale at Rowallane Gardens
The Society is holding a plant sale as part of the Autumn Plant Fair at the National Trust’s Rowallane Gardens. It is a super opportunity to acquire plants not only from the IGPS stall where we plan to have a number of Irish cultivars and plants with Irish associations but also from a number of professional growers and nurseries which will be there on the day.
Donations of good quality plants, labelled and free from weeds, would be very welcome. Members can leave their plants in advance in either Belfast or Downpatrick by arrangement with Agnes Peacocke telephone 028 4461 2766 or email her at apeacocke@hotmail.co.uk or plants may be delivered to Rowallane from 9.00am onwards on the morning of the sale.
Help cut down on plastic waste – bring your own bags!
Please note: Visitors are asked to use the main car park as the drop off point when bringing plants to the IGPS stall as the route along the front of Rowallane House is pedestrianised. Normal admission charges for non-members of the Trust apply.
