Description
The gardens belonging to Cherry Townsend extend to five acres and have evolved over the past twenty years. They include a cottage garden, orchard, vegetable and herb garden and a recently planted prairie border. The cut flower field includes raised beds full of annuals and perennials suitable for cut flower production. Cherry has a particular passion for old roses and over 140 different roses, old and new, can be found throughout the garden.

No pre-booking is required and members are able to arrive at any time between 11.00 am and 4.00 pm (last arrival time).
The visit is free for IGPS members. For personal guests accompanying members there is a charge of £5 per guest payable on the day.
Car parking areas will be pointed out on arrival.
After parking, it is essential that members and their personal guests check in as usual at the IGPS registration table.
There are no refreshments available on site but you are welcome to bring a picnic, folding chairs and/or a rug as there are various places where a picnic can be enjoyed.
If the weather is inclement there is a large barn that can be used for the picnic.
There is also a toilet on site.
Cherry has plants for sale and we also hope to have a small table sale of plants somewhere near to her sale plants.
