John Mitchell, of the Edinburgh Botanical Gardens, will bring us on a wonderful tour of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgystan and introduce us to the fabulously rare and beautiful plants of these parts of the world.

John has spent a great deal of  time in these areas training students in the Hindu Kush, exploring the Wakhan corridor and the valleys near Dushanbe while seeking out rare plants.

This is a joint Irish Garden Plant Society/Alpine Garden Society event.

March 24th Thursday, 8.00pm.
