IGPS Munster will once again be holding its Annual Plant Sale at Blarney in Bloom. We’re asking our members to please try support the plant sale by donating plants and books, and/or volunteering their time to help out on the day.

Donating Plants
We would be very grateful if people could begin preparing and gathering some interesting and unusual plants to donate to the IGPS plant sale. Check the plants are in good sellable condition (those in flower sell fast), are established in their pots, and labeled with a full botanical name and cultivar name if possible. There’s no need to include a price as we do this on the day.
Whether you can only donate one plant, or a full crate, every plant donation helps.
Volunteering
We’re looking for 4 volunteers to man the plant stand, sell plants, and encourage those interested in the IGPS to take a membership form away with them. We have a minimum of two people manning the stand at all times between 10am and 4pm, with a committee member being close-by on call, should you have a question or need a break. 2 hours is all you will be expected to volunteer. Either 10am to 12noon, or 2pm to 4pm.
- 8am to 10am – Set up (Margaret, Yvette, Ted)
- 10am to 12 noon (Janet, Eilis, Martin)
- 12 noon to 2pm (Yvette, David)
- 2pm to 4pm
- 4pm to 5pm – Pack up (Margaret & Ted)
It’s always great to see members getting enjoyment from manning the plant stall, and if you’ve never done it before, don’t worry as there will always be someone volunteering with you who has.
